We tend to breed / manage our birds a little differently as well. Firstly, we put much more effort into breeding than showing.  Secondly, we rarely use vets preferring to use a Naturopath instead.

And we tend to run our best cocks ( explained in depth under the subheading breeding).  

We are currently trialling a homeopathic remedy alternative to Amphotericin B, which is an antifungal agent used for Megabacteria (Avian Gastric Yeast). We have had no successes in treating birds affected by 'Mega' with Amphotericin B.

 We also like to test everything we give the birds. Many products claim to be good for the bird’s health, but sadly, testing often proves them to be antagonistic (bad) to the birds system, or the amount recommended to give by the manufacturer, is far in excess of what is optimum on the birds metabolism. This is simply, we think, so the buyer uses more & hence buys more.
